ShepherdCare
is a nonprofit National Heritage Foundation that
assists ministers in acquiring the tools necessary to prevent burnout, avoid
moral failure and sustain long-term effectiveness in ministry. ShepherdCare
is the result of years of research into the dynamics of forced termination
in the ministry. Our focus is the health of the minister’s soul. Healthy ministers result in healthy
ministries. Forced termination often results from lack of competency in several
key areas of the minister’s life. We desire to teach these insights
through a variety of services, including consultation, counseling,
coaching, conferences and publications.

Welcome
to ShepherdCare’s online resource to support the health and effectiveness
of pastoral and para-church ministers. Whether you are a first-time visitor or a minister
returning to our site with a specific purpose in mind, it’s our goal
to assist your ministry in any way possible. If you don’t find what
you’re looking for, drop us a line either by mail,
email or telephone and we’ll do everything we can to help. Even if
we are unable to find what you need, we very well may be able to put you
in contact with someone else who does.
Whatever benefit you gain from the resources
on our site, chances are it was made possible by one of the many men
and women who financially support this ministry. If you would like
to make a financial contribution to further our work in helping ministers,
you may now make an online contribution by credit card or auto draft by clicking here or you may simply mail a check directly to our
office.
2007 was an exciting year for ShepherdCare as our ministry reach was expanded with the publication of the Preventing Ministry Failure workbook. We look forward to all that God has in store for 2008 as we continue to take
bold new steps in calling ministers everywhere toward caring for the Flock
by first caring for themselves – the shepherd.
That’s ShepherdCare.
Together
in His service,
